Book your Bayreuth Festival tickets online – Pay with credit card
For the Bayreuth Festival 2012 tickets may be ordered online. At http://ticket.btfs.de you will be able to place your orders starting September 15, 2011. If you order for the first time, you can register here and order. If you already are a customer, you will receive a personalized access code with your 2012 order form.
Moreover, you will be able to pay the invoice for next year’s tickets with a credit card.
Ticket requests
For the 2011 festival, there was 320,000 registered ticket requests for a total of 53 900 available tickets. From 2012 everyone can order tickets online and pay by credit card.
The new ticket system is made possible by sponsorship from TAff.
The Bayreuth Festival House is known for the good view, even on the sides.

Returns
For most performances there are a number of tickets sold on the day of
the performance. The ticket office opens at 13:30. Bring a chair and be
early, and you will probably get a ticket. Some hotels also sell tickets
to their guests.
Wagner societies
To join a Wagner society can be a good investment if you are desperate for tickets. These societies get a certain number of tickets for their members.
Society of Friends of Bayreuth (Gesellschaft der Freunde von Bayreuth)
Becoming a member of the Society of Friends of Bayreuth will probably help you get tickets. The aim of the Gesellschaft der 
Freunde von Bayreuth (Society of Friends of Bayreuth) is to provide financial support for the Bayreuth Festival.
The Friends of Bayreuth now has more than five thousand members, making it one of the largest and most financially powerful sponsorship groups in Germany.
The joining fee is 260 euros, and the annual membership subscription is 205 euros.
