René Kollo
René Kollo (born 1937) was one of the leading Heldentenors of his generation. He sang all the Heldentenor roles at Bayreuth and other operahouses all around the world in the 70's and 80's.
René Kollo has made many CD and DVD recordings with conductors such as Georg Solti, Herbert von Karajan, Leonard Bernstein, Wolfgang Sawallisch and Daniel Barenboim.
In 2004 René Kollo published his autobiography "René Kollo - Die Kunst, das Leben und alles andre..."
