Festspielnachrichten - news from the Bayreuth Festival
Visitors attending the Bayreuth Festival are acquainted
with a series of booklets with the title "Festspielnachrichten" (Festival
news) with reviews, reports, obituaries, interviews etc related to
the Wagner Festival.
It is the publishing house Ellwanger, situated in Bayreuth, who publishes
the series.
The
2008 edition costs 3 Euro (USD 4.4.) each and can
be ordered at Ellwanger's homepage: www.ellwanger-online.de
This year the booklets include interviews with Siegfried Jerusalem, Iréne
Theorin, Michelle Breedt, Endrik Wottrich, Albert
Dohmen and Stefan
Herheim, who made his Parsifal debut at Bayreuth this summer (2008).
